Sara has been described as Britain's New-Wave-Vintage Nightingale. That's because she writes music with a hint of modern groove but with good, strong melodies and a ray of uplifting sunshine.
Just like the romantic tunes of the Golden Era, Saras songs and beautiful voice transport you and make you feel delighted.
Jools Holland walked up to the stage, shook her hand and said
"She has a fantastic voice - her band makes me want to dance… they have that magical element which it's almost impossible to put your finger on!”
Hank Marvin (The Shadows) hand wrote a note for her which reads
“If you haven’t seen or heard Sara Spade & The Noisy Boys you haven’t lived. Hear them. See them. As soon as possible.”
Perhaps we should take his advice.
Oh p.s. for some people Sara has brought the following musicians to mind: Doris Day, Fairground Attraction, Paolo Nutini and Squeeze.
Sara also teaches ukulele and serves community projects with Singalongs and Therapeutic Music Sessions. These services are detailed on two other websites. Just click to view on the right.
